![]() ![]() ![]() Which one would you recommend for someone who prefers the medieval world over the futuristic one and has enjoyed the games I mentioned? Thanks for the help! 5e sucks balls as a system so I would suggest against getting Baldur's Gate 3 on that premise alone. Unfortunately, I can only invest time and money into one of these games. I loved the medieval setting in Elden Ring, and while I've never played any D&D games before, I'm open to trying it. I've played RPGs like The Witcher 3, Mass Effect 1, Cyberpunk 2077, Yakuza: Like a Dragon, Bloodborne, Sekiro, and Elden Ring, and I've also dabbled in CRPGs like Tyranny and Disco Elysium. Not to mention PvP if that is your thing.Originally posted by TheRatedRab:Hey everyone, I'm looking to dive into a new RPG game in August and I'm torn between Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon and Baldur's Gate 3. So, I suspect a decent amount of play time out of this. ![]() Also, multiple endings and missions having hard modes post-story like 4A also will extend play time a lot, etc. That said, I expect those middle chapters to be a lot longer, not to mention chapter 1 seemed like it was nothing but main missions, so it's not counting side content. So I could definitely see 50 hours based off that assumption. Then, since we know it'll have multiple endings (Ala 4answers) meaning new missions on replay, you might be seeing another 5-10 hours there depending on how much it is, how hard it is, etc. Then you have as 30-50 Arena fights which, lets say, takes 5 hours if you're really solid and just grinding the hell out of it for 30-40 hours. Let's say another 10 hours to S rank everyone of those missions for 25-35 hours. If they all take roughly 3-5 hours to clear, that is 15 to 25 hours. Making some assumptions here, let's say all 5 chapters are the exact same length (unlikely, I suspect chapter 1 and 5 are going to be short compared to 2-4.) Hmm.I doubt it'll take 50 hours personally unless they're talking 100% the game. ![]()
